The Brenda Glass Multipurpose Trauma Center is a nonprofit service organization in Cleveland that provides professional counseling and support services to victims of crime and violence. We offer an array of mental health services, spiritual counseling, case management, and linkage to safe shelter to Cuyahoga County residents who have been impacted by crime, physical violence, or sexual assault.

“I am a current patient of the Brenda Glass Trauma Center. I have been here for almost 2 months. I was in an unsafe situation and was told to go to a shelter for my safety. I was reluctant to go because I did not want to be with a group of people I did not know, and I knew I wouldn’t feel safe or comfortable.

“When I found out about this program, it changed my life for the better. I was placed in a Safe Home with only one other person and that made me feel safe and comfortable. I am able to heal from my trauma and focus on bettering myself. The counseling sessions help me tremendously.
