Hope, Help & Healing for Survivors of Violence or Sexual Assault

The Brenda Glass Trauma Center is a nonprofit organization in Cleveland, Ohio that offers hope, help, and healing to adult individuals and/or families who have experienced a violent crime and are struggling to recover.

Our team provides mental health, outreach, and advocacy services to remove barriers to care and enable survivors to envision hope and actively engage in healing holistically. Our support addresses practical needs such as safe shelter, financial entitlements, basic needs, and legal advocacy, as well as individualized therapy and spiritual counseling.

Our services began with the adoption of the innovative San Francisco Trauma Recovery Center model, incorporating safety and wraparound services which are the most needed services during the initial stage of violence to effectively remove barriers to healthy survivorship.

Our clients typically have suffered trauma from domestic violence, sexual assaults, and other physical assaults, criminal motor vehicle accidents, gang-related violence, and losing a loved one to homicide.

Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We deliver services in the greater Cleveland community from a confidential location. Our trained team members are often out in the city, going wherever violence has taken place and our support is needed.

Mission Statement

To provide comprehensive outreach, case management, peer support, and mental health services in the greater Cleveland area to individuals and/or families who experience a violent crime and who are underserved or lack access to services and assistance needed to recovery holistically from that experience.
