Psychotherapy for Trauma Recovery
The Brenda Glass Trauma Center team includes experienced Licensed Clinical Social Workers who provide an array of trauma mental health services. They will complete a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment of your needs and develop an individualized service plan based on your needs.
Healing for survivors of violence must take place physically, mentally, and spiritually. Our therapists provide ongoing psychotherapy sessions with state-of-the-art Trauma Therapeutic interventions designed for holistic healing.
Therapists also may provide case management services, which include accompaniment to court proceedings, prosecutor meetings, and serving as your advocate with law enforcement.

Peer Support Services
Sharing your experience with other survivors through peer support can help you heal from trauma. Our team of peer support advocates is comprised of individuals who have survived violence themselves and have come a long way in their healing process.
These team members can meet survivors and or their families where they are in the community or in the hospital for emotional support and provide a full overview of the services offered by the Brenda Glass Trauma Center. They also can provide ongoing emotional support, transportation to associated medical and mental health appointments, and accompaniment to court proceedings and other legal engagements.
Peer support advocates also assist case managers with permanent safe and affordable housing and facilitating linkage to community resources. Peer support is the primary facilitator of the smooth transition of discharge from the hospital to the safe shelter facility.
